New Charm, Great Cause: PANDORA Partners with OneWorld Health to Bring Lifesaving Medicines to People Everywhere

OneWorld Health Charm Will be Available in Stores November 3, 2008

PANDORA and The Institute for OneWorld Health have joined forces to design the “OneWorld Health” charm for PANDORA’s signature charm bracelets. For every charm sold, PANDORA will donate $20 to OneWorld Health, the first U.S. non-profit pharmaceutical company that develops safe, effective and affordable new medicines for the world’s most impoverished communities.

The OneWorld Health charm will be available for purchase on November 3, 2008, in PANDORA stores, as well as fine jewelry and gift shops across North America. The charm retails for $80 in the U.S. and $96 in Canada.

As part of PANDORA’s “Charmed Giving” program, PANDORA asked OneWorld Health to help design the charm. The sterling silver charm incorporates 14K gold in an intricate, criss-cross pattern. A sparkling water drop shape dangles underneath the charm as a symbol of the lifesaving hope OneWorld Health provides with every drop of medicine it develops for those who need it the most, but can least afford it.
