PANDORA has supported Breast Cancer charities in Australia since the company started in 2004. Because Breast Cancer touches the lives of so many women and their families we feel the work of these charities is vital. Their aim is ultimately to find a cure for Breast Cancer and in the meantime, to support women who have this disease in as many ways as possible.
13,000 Australian women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year
Each year, we donate 15% of the sales of our gold and silver Pink Ribbon beads to The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
With your support and the amazing efforts of our retailers, our donations have risen each year:
• In 2007, we donated over $70,000 from the sales of Pink Ribbon Beads • In 2008, we successfully raised $256,293 for the Australian National Breast Cancer Foundation • In 2009, we aim to raise $400,000
We are pleased to announce our most recent involvement with Breast Cancer charities – helping our new Brand Ambassador Krystal Barter as she launches Pink Hope, a charity that is dedicated to helping younger women who suffer from the disease.
This year, a proportion of Pink Ribbon bead proceeds will go to Krystal’s new charity.
We thank our strong retailer network and the positive support of our PANDORA customers as we aim to increase our commitment to these very worthy causes.
